Less heat while cutting keeps target edges stronger. Plasma cutting can over heat the metal and change the hardness of the target leading to more edge chipping shortening the life of the target.

We powder coat all our 12×20 3/8″ SR500 steel silhouette targets in white, so they are ready for action.

½” Square Carriage Bolt Holes

Laser cutting our 12x20x3/8″steel silhouette target allows us to put 1/2″ square mounting holes in the target so they can accept a carriage bolt. Using carriage bolts makes it easier to mount your 12×20 SR500 targets as you only need one wrench. Carriage bolts also have a smooth round head so there is less of a chance ricochet keeping your range time safe.
